In its 63rd year now, your alma mater continues to be at the forefront of academic excellence and has been winning accolades as the top-ranked institute in science and technology. IITB has invested significantly in enhancing faculty strength and in undertaking pathbreaking research in traditional and emerging areas like AI/ML, Biosciences and Healthcare, Climate Studies and Clean Energy. In the past two decades, IITB has created a strong entrepreneurship ecosystem with its incubator SINE and the Desai-Sethi School of Entrepreneurship. IIT Bombay is acknowledged as the institute of choice for the best and brightest students and faculty alike.

Alumni can help IITB by supporting its initiatives to expand and maintain world class infrastructure for a rapidly increasing student base. The current initiatives that need alumni support are creation of world-class laboratory complexes, modernization of lecture halls and continuation of awards to attract and retain faculty.
